SEPTEMBER - DECEMBER 2016 TRIPS
Trips are an additional cost. User and non-user fees are included for each trip. We encourage individuals to be users of the Adult Activity Center (AAC). Not only do you receive a discount on trips, one can take part in the enjoyable daily activities, special events, and holiday parties! All trips have a registration deadline. The registration deadline is one to two weeks before the trip. Many trips require admission fees, which often times must be purchased ahead of time. Furthermore, each trip includes a class rating, which conveys the accessibility requirements of each trip. You will find the class rating explanations below. A schedule and an explanation of each trip are under the class ratings. If you have any questions please call the AAC at (509) 962-7242. Brochures are available at any City of Ellensburg Parks and Recreation locations.
CLASS - L
This trip is accessible to persons with limited ambulatory ability, or who use a walker, electric scooter or wheelchair. Travelers must be able to self-propel their wheelchair or travel with someone to assist.
CLASS - S
This trip is accessible to person who are ambulatory and able to walk a short distance with no assistance.
CLASS - M
This trip is accessible to persons who are ambulatory and able to walk a moderate distance with no assistance.
CLASS - E
This trip is accessible to persons who are ambulatory and able to walk an extended distance with no assistance.
 
SEATTLE WATERFRONT AND AQUARIUM
Enjoy a day at the Seattle Waterfront and Aquarium. Explore Seattle Aquarium's assortment of exhibits and eye-catching animals that make their homes in the warm waters of the Pacific Northwest. After the aquarium, enjoy free time and lunch at the Seattle Waterfront. Lunch is on your own. Pre-registration required.

FALL BRUNCH AT TANEUM CAMPGROUND
Located along the Taneum Creek, the picnic shelter was built by the CCC. Ponderosa Pine and Douglas Fir shade the area. Brunch includes griddle pancakes, sausage, and fruit. Please wear warm clothes. Pre-registration required.

YAKIMA VALLEY MUSEUM & LUNCH AT THE SODA FOUNTAIN
The Yakima Valley Museum is located in Yakima's beautiful Franklin Park. The museum offers histrocial exhibits of the Yakima Valley: its natural history, pioneer life, early city life, and the development of the Valley's fruit industry. You will have lunch at the Museum Soda Fountain restaurant, which is a replica of a late 1930's Art Deco Soda Fountain. Lunch is on your own. Pre-registration is required.
