Passenger Rail Service Survey

Central Washington University is conducting a survey to evaluate the feasibility of restoring passenger rail service through Ellensburg. The purpose of the survey is to find out if people would use train service, and if so how often.

Suggested route would include stops in Pasco, Kennewick, Toppenish, Yakima, Ellensburg, Cle Elum, Roslyn, Auburn, and Seattle (referred to as the Stampede Pass Corridor).

The survey is available here: https://cwu.co1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_0iGdDaGTpWeHXLL   until May 31, 2017.

The City’s role in this effort is to support the distribution of information about the availability of the survey. For more information, contact Dr. John Bowen at (509) 963-1130 or john.bowen@cwu.edu .
