Fuel Switching

The next time you need to replace an appliance, think natural gas. The City of Ellensburg offers home owners substantial rebates for the purchase of gas appliances that replace electric appliances. Gas-based appliances cost on average 30% less to operate and help you save on your utility bill. Gas ranges can raise the value of your home. Highly valued by cooks who appreciate more temperature control, some gas stoves and appliances still work if the electricity goes out. Gas fireplaces and heating stoves add to the comfort of your home and can help offset those low efficient baseboard and wall heaters.
